Skilled Nursing Facility in Sunbury, Ohio Expanded Their Memory Care Unit!

Country View of Sunbury is thrilled to announce that we will be expanding our memory care unit. This expansion means so much to all of us because now we're able to welcome more seniors into our premier facility that are in need of memory care services.

Our brand-new 17-bed unit features three different areas that can accommodate rest areas and living rooms. Our first area is the activity and dining room, where everyone can get together to do activities and visit with each other. This space will have stations for different cognitive-appropriate activities. Our next room is a relaxation room where residents will be able to rest and have some quiet time. We made sure to make this a zen space by providing sensory items, essential oils, calming music and more. The sensory items will be placed on the wall, interactive, as well as hand-held activities in order to provide a relaxing environment. Our third room is where our residents can relax and enjoy some of their favorite TV shows.



Since memory care units are in high demand right now, we're humbled to be able to help bring that down by turning one of our units into a focused memory care unit. We want to be here to help the community as much as we can by offering our Culture of Care to each resident that walks through our doors.
