Welcoming Our New Activities Assistant

Country View is excited to welcome our new Activities Assistant, Tammy! As many of you know, Tammy has worked at Country View for many years as an STNA. She has now branched out and is looking forward to more one-on-one time with the residents, exploring creative avenues with them.


We are so excited to have Tammy as part of our Activities Department, assisting on our memory care units. We asked Tammy how she felt about her new position, and this is what she had to say.

"I love to get the residents excited and see their smiles. It brightens my day to see how smart and creative they are and how much they just enjoy doing the little things. The residents are so precious and I love to spend as much time with them as I can. I love doing things with them that make their beautiful faces light up. They are my second family, and I just want to make them as happy as I can, as they also make me happy.

My job isn’t just about taking care of the residents, it is also to make sure that they live a life full of happiness and enjoyment because that's what they deserve. They also deserve respect and, most importantly, love. Every day, I feel so lucky to see their smiles. When I see that, I know I've done my job and made their day that much more beautiful. The residents are the highlight of my day."
